Dr. Aaron Mitchell feels blessed to have been serving patients in Marion for the past 8 years. In doing so, he truly believes that, “A joyful heart is good medicine.” – Proverbs 17:22

Dr. Mitchell is highly trained and gives God all the glory for his many accomplishments over the years. He was recently named a delegate to the prestigious Methodist Hospital Physician Leadership Academy, designating the top 20 physicians covering all specialties in the greater Memphis area. He has also led his current team to a Level 3 (Highest Level) PCMH Certification – Patient Centered Medical Home, and they have won recognition for being Hypertension Champions for excellence in treating blood pressure. He was the Chief Resident while training at St. Bernards Hospital and NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR, and is dedicated to promoting health and wellness through true lifestyle change.

Dr. Mitchell serves as the current President of the Crittenden County Medical Society. He is Medical Director of the EMT program at Arkansas State Mid-South and periodically is a guest-lecturer. He also serves as Medical Director for Elite Home Health and Dierken Memorial Hospice. He is dedicated to the education of all medical associated professions.

Dr. Mitchell is married to Rebecca, who is a pharmacist, and they have four beautiful children. Dr. Mitchell lives in Marion, attends church at Bellevue Baptist, and is an active member of his community. He has served on medical mission trips overseas to Brazil, Ghana, and Mexico.
